Chorionic gonadotropin or HCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) is a glycoprotein existing in injectable form. We find this molecule in its natural state in the urine of pregnant women. Chorionic gonadotropin is medically used as a conception aid in women (ovulation assistance) and among all young children (helps testicular descent). Athletes are interested in it as a hormonal stimulant that can be very useful after a cycle of anabolic steroids.
HCG is not an anabolic steroid but a complementary hormone that bodybuilders use at the end of a steroid cycle to avoid side effects on the metabolism. Indeed, anabolic steroids have the unfortunate consequence of causing the testicles to rest during the cycle. This means that these steroids are androgens: they replace the action of testosterone, which ceases to be naturally produced in the testicles. This usually appears when a cycle lasts more than 4 or 5 weeks. At the end of the cycle, the endogenous testosterone has become dangerously low. It is therefore urgent to return this rate to normal very quickly because after an abrupt discontinuation of a steroid cycle, the product is no longer there to play the role of testosterone. This can cause a rapid loss of weight gained during the cycle and severe dehydration.
This is where chorionic gonadotropin comes in. It has the effect of boosting natural testosterone production in the testicles. . HCG replaces luteinizing hormone (also called LH), which is normally responsible for triggering the production of testosterone, but is missing from the steroid cycle. In contrast, if HCG increases endogenous testosterone production, it also unfortunately increases the estrogen levels in the human body. Gynecomastia is therefore possible with this. To avoid this problem, users usually combine (stack/mix) HCG with an anti-estrogen such as Nolvadex. This hormone is always presented in 2 separate bulbs. One contains powdered HCG and the other a sterilized solvent. You should of course mix these 2 ampoules to prepare the substance to be injected. The mixture should be refrigerated. Imitations of these products frequently cause pain and fevers because they are most often produced in an unsterile environment. Dosages vary between 2500 and 5000iu per week. HCG is usually injected once per week during 2 weeks, which is sufficient in most cases to regain normal testosterone levels.
Dosage: Take between 3000 - 5000 IU once weekly for at least 2 - 3 weeks
Note: If you experience testicular atrophy during a cycle of strong anabolic-androgenic steroids, you can increase injections of gonadotropoin by 2 to 250 IU
